Trick
1.
On Windows 10 or later, open Command Prompt as administrator.
2.
Run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
3.
Allow DISM to finish and check its completion message.

Use responsibly: Do not manually delete the WinSxS folder or its contents. The optional /ResetBase switch is deliberately omitted: after cleanup with /ResetBase, existing Windows update packages cannot be uninstalled. Future update packages can still be uninstalled. Run maintenance only on a computer you administer.
